I am going to say I do really like Bungou Stray Dogs. I recently binged the anime and I am now reading the Manga. I can't really take it seriously when the threat involves the entire world. So maybe it's a good thing that I know they are gonna be fine. I mean the greatest part is the connection. It's the trust between your peers. You don't defeat your enemy by being physically stronger. But by trusting the ones on your side. It's also why I love Kekkai Sensen, they have the same "random bullshit go" when it comes to the setting. BSD it's more in your face in the first few seasons. Like Edgar Allan Poe mysteries lol. While Kekkai Sensen is mainly just because of New York and it being collided with a second dimension. So yeah the lack of sense is part of the shame.

I think it's why they are the two anime I didn't put Emory Marygold my Madoka Magica oc in it. I think it is best to keep the angst at this comfortable edge.

Like I can see Akutagawa and Atsushi drinking tea after all this. They still have baggage and will probably get on each other's nerves. Bring Sigma in on this, it could be fun. Like they could all 3 start venting about Dazai's weird behavior when it comes to mentoring people. While Dazai is there listening. Chuuya would either be laughing or joining in. Even Kyouka, she is just more silent.

The reason why I brought up Kekkai Sensen, is that I have a weird idea for a crossover. Like just bring Leonardo Watch on a mission with the rest of Libra just because. It can work it can either be because of a weird ability or a weird whatever. And it's purely to see characters having really specific interaction. I only have two for now.

Leonardo Watch, Akutagawa Ryūnosuke, and Atsushi Nakajima. Are either simply walking together as a group or drinking at the cafe? Until a bomb exploded near them. Leonardo is the only one who doesn't even blink at this.

Klaus von Reinherz and Yukichi Fukuzawa are simply drinking tea. Talking about the joy of plants and cats.

A little change because this is purely for BSD and some authors I wish was done in the anime. Just for my own fun.

Alex Dumas and Count of Monte Cristo. Let him be Batman. He could even have a team he calls the 3 Musketeers. I do think he should be a person of color. Because Alex Dumas wrote the book about what happened to his grandfather who was black.

Mary Shelley with Frankenstein, but make her more like the bride (adopted sister I don't know?) of Frankenstein. Marrying the love for nature and the desire to give life to the dead. She could just have a very Adam way of seeing beauty in the macabre. The monster could be called Frankenstein and being her actual friend.

Junji Ito, mainly because I wanna see what visual bit of literature would look like?

Robert Louis Stevenson, the writer of Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. No DID though. It could be just an ability to clean your reputation of every suspicion. It could look like shapeshifting, but it should be stated that the limit is murder if Robert kills, the ability will be corrupted.

As a writer myself, I do want to shove some authors' ideas too. But that would be for another time.

I'm sick of the "smart person, dumb person" trope in fictional friend pairs, and the "two dumb people" pair is just as overused, so here's a hot take:

Two smart people, but one acts stupid constantly because it's hilarious to them, and the other is either laughing at them or fed up with their bullshit.

I seriously am getting the urge to create characters with literally the WORST possible fashion sense

Like they always wear striped socks and crocs and just really crappy clothes
