Oh Sunday … As I prayed this morning, I realized all the times I took the power of prayer for granted. The times I misused prayer. The times I went before God as a last resort or out of desperation. The times my prayers were empty, yet full of emotions. Did you catch that? I was emotional, crying and snotting while praying, yet my prayers were empty because while I needed God to fix it again, I hadn’t asked Him to fix me. I was a mess who wasn’t fit to live and not ready die. I had to change me and it started in prayer. There are still areas I need to do better in, and I am, but my prayer life is different. I now know the true power of prayer and I’m utilizing it for every area of my life. What about you? Do you know the true power of prayer? . .
