Anyone else have a random word document (or notebook) full of characters they’ve created but never used? 

I have a google doc titled “characters I’ve created, I hope they have a story one day :( “ it’s about ten pages long and that doesn’t seem too long but it included about 50 characters. Some are separated into stories I never wrote so they have like full descriptions and stuff I just abandoned the plot, others it’s literally just names and maybe a basic description. Like I haven’t used these characters but I cannot bring myself to delete them...I’d literally feel like I’m killing them so instead they just chill in writing limbo.

Things I’ve said that I probably should never say while doing research for writing (Part 1 because there’s BOUND to be more):

‘I don’t want to know how to fix my car engine! I’m trying to figure out how to knock someone unconscious!’

Thingking of a character name to be something unique is harder than thinking for the actual ending of your story,it sucks :/
