When you ask a question or make a comment, do they send it back enthusiastically and keep the exchange going? 2. Do they make physical contact you wouldn’t make with your dad or mom? (Ex: touching your knee, brushing the small of your back, etc.) 3. Do they treat you differently than other people of the same gender? 4. If you mention something you would like to do in the future—like a concert—do they offer to go? (Bonus points if they don’t really like that thing). 5. Do they look admiringly at you when you aren’t looking at them? 6. Do they make a point to bring up topics you like and follow up with things you’ve talked about? 7. If you lean in, do they also lean in? Or do they lean back? Have you ever been close enough to kiss each other? 8. If you invite them somewhere alone, do they suggest inviting others?
