Little animation a threw together a while ago because I am autistic and joyful
Random Headcanon of thinking of why the Creature is so “Different”.
What if he was a young solider that died on the battlefield afraid and confused.
He was never considered normal as he was Autistic. His parents tried their best to teach him to ‘act normal’, but he would create stories and adventures in his mind and spend time with the animals instead of other humans and called him his friends. When the war came about, depending where he was from, he either was drafted or felt the pressure to volunteer either to be ‘normal’ or be like the other boys, or to keep his frail father from going. He didn’t know the true horror and reality of war and did his best to follow orders, but something terrible occurred, be it a misunderstanding that he was trying to desert and was shot by friendly fire, trying to help and shot as well, or trying to just stay hidden and given no mercy and shot, he ended up dead.
Victor finds him and end ends up using at the very least his brain and when when the lightening is used to bring him to life it erases all his memories that make him him.
Perhaps the dreams he has are from a previous life, stories he made up for himself, read, or of some part of his brain needed a new part that was added if damaged.
But now he is a new person, but still dealing with what it is like to be autistic in a world that doesn’t understand such people and puts them away in asylums or calls them other, only now he is frightening in size, strength and appearance as well to those people.
Victor does not understand this mindset and likely shares in it or some form of other neurodivergent form and thus clashes with his Creature and sees it as his own father saw him.
It isn’t until the end that he finally sees and understands and not only accepts the Creatures “differences” but his own as well.
Unexpected
the losers gang is here
Come get ur marshmallow of a soldier my fellow neurodivergents 🫡
Imagine telling him he serves cvnt (occasionally) & he'd be like 'I do serve, yes. For king and country! 😃😃'
It should’ve been them.
