Me going full-on hyper autism whenever I seen these characters in the upcoming Cuphead Show episodes
(Sorry not sorry, but that’s me at the moment)
“Hey! The names Harvey what can I do to help?”
My brain is still on fire
um hey! i'm sorry, but could you explain what are 'reeee' jokes? it's okay if you don't want to, it's just that you reblogged something about it and idk if it's bc i live in brazil, but i've never seen anyone doing that (thankfully). have a nice day/night and thank you for this blog!! i'm learning a lot with it <3
Of course!!
The “Reee” meme looks something like this and comes in many different forms, usually to express frustration.
It originated from the “Autistic Screeching” meme, which mocks autistic people’s meltdowns, specifically high support autistics who will often express their sensory overload through screaming.
The “Reeee” meme is also somewhat of an ableist dogwhistle. It’s REALLY popular in America for middle schoolers (12-14 year olds), and a lot of them don’t even understand how ableist it is.
It’s really fucking tiring for my classmates to constantly be throwing these around and I honestly wish that the world accommodated for ND people more? I struggle to sit in class and focus on my work with everyone talking around and over me, discussing whatever worksheet the relief teacher assigned us to do. I got lucky today that two teachers let us listen to music, one teacher turned a blind eye when I used my ear piece without plugging it in and one teacher didn’t really say anything when I moved to the back of the class and sat on the floor to finish my assignment. I think I’m just really angry and tired at this point but seriously, I am bored in class while simultaneously struggling to finish my assignments, my peers are struggling to finish because they’re loudly talking to each other and not focusing and bless the next teacher that says “if you finish this early you can go” because I will be out of that stupid suffocating room in 10 minutes. And seriously, if I hear ableist screeching one more time I’m just straight up going to walk out of class and chill in the library until I decide to want to leave because a. You’re fucking ableist and b. Guess what it hurts my ears all hail sensory overload
idk im going insane from courseworks
Edit: I just realised I forgot to mirror back the image fml
