he has a good autism radar - knew what you are the minute he met you at the academy and told you about his suspicions quite early.

after knowing him for a while, you took on his accent.

wanting to accomodate him better, you researched his disabilities so much it became your hyperfixation for some time.

vik couldn't afford a formal diagnosis, so he spent years observing himself, reflecting on his life and self diagnosing.

you felt very safe in the his presence and quickly started unmasking when in private.

if you were afraid of being direct and thought of as rude, he prompted you to be more straightforward and speak your mind more freely.

viktor doesn't mask a lot, since being physically disabled is exhausting enough for him. because of this, people often label him as mean or cold - only those close to him know him as the sweetheart he is. he wants to prove them otherwise but he's just so tired.

he answers your rherorical questions and doesn't care that it's inapropprate.

you apperciate his expressiveness, since he makes it easy for you to read his emotions.

he builds stim toys for you and himself from leftovers of his projects

don't you dare interrupt him when he's working. he gets into hyperfocus and may get extremely startled when gotten out of it.

prefers to work in the middle of the night, since it's more quiet.

often forgets to eat or drink (unless it's his coffee) when he's working, so you have to remind him of it.

his desk looks messy, but in his mind it's perfectly organised.

has shutdowns when overstimulated, during which he curls up in a ball, cries and finds it hard to speak or react to stuff. when he has them, you take care of him and make sure he is left alone.

you were the first person he let see him during his shutdown, knowing you won't treat him like a baby.

pressure is very comforting for him (especially during shutdowns). at first, you were hesistant to hugging him too tightly or laying on top of him, being afraid to hurt him, but he demanded it so much you gave in.

when you have a meltdown or a shutdown, he bumps people with his cane if someone bothers you.

has EDS as a comorbidity

if you like pressure too, he often sits on your lap or lays on your chest (and he lets you stim by playing with his hair)

tolerates touch from you only, and from jayce.

sometimes you stim by playing with his hands or stroking his skin - it's delicate, but his bones make it a bit hard, so touching him is an interesting sensory experience.

you sometimes stim by playing with his cane when he's not using it. at first, it made him anxious, but he eventually let you do it.

you often socialise by parallel play in the lab - he tinkers on his projects, while you work on your stuff in silence, comforted by each other presence.

he appreciates when you prompt him to talk about hextech and engineering. also asks you often about your special interests, reassuring that you aren't annoying him at all and he loves hearing about things you're passionate about.

if you're nonverbal, he augmented your aac device, for example making it's battery last longer or have all the words you need available, including the curse words and names of private parts. he knows how it's like to be infantilised and to see the shock on people's faces when you say phases like this.

no matter which one of you felt first, you both fell so hard. you were each other's first people to be so close with and know they mean to you as much as you do to them. it was a weird feeling, knowing the other person doesn't secretly hate you.

neither of you realised what you feel to the other is love and someone else had to tell you about it.

you practiced confessing your love to him for months, down to every tone change in your voice and/or your word choice, every facial expression and every gesture.

since he's an introvert, he doesn't mind your low social battery. you two might meet once a month, but you're both full of joy every meeting.

for your first date, he chose his hideout, since it was a quiet place where you were alone and didn't have to mask. you both prepared food, books and pillows for each other.

people don't realise you're a couple, since you don't touch or conventionally show love to each other in public.

moving together was a long and hard decision for you, since you both struggled with change.

you two had fights on who's turn it was to do challenging chores like filling the dishwasher, washing dishes or taking out wet laundry. but rubber gloves from the lab became your lifesaver.

he finds your clothes so comfy he steals them. even after washing, you feel his smell on the fabric.

if you have empathy towards inanimate objects and have to throw away your stuff, you give it to vik and he makes trinkets of them, to give them a new life.

if you're touch averse, you don't touch each other. instead, you please each other by one of you using a remote controlled toy on the other.

or you just please him in rubber gloves from his lab. (these things are life savers for autistics lol)

or, you tried you fucking with clothes still on. whoever topped just took out out their cock/put on their strap and whoever bottomed just slid down their pants. but that ended with both of you screeching from having wet clothes.

sometimes one of you says something socially inaproppriate while fucking and you both laugh.

he's very sensitive and you took advantage of it.

Jayce doesn't know what he's doing, he doesn't know what's wrong with him, he can't help but have these feelings for his friend, and he wishes, he really wishes he was a better person that in the warmth of the moment wouldn't have asked said friend on a trip.

ADHD Jayce x Autistic Viktor

Jayce is always making noise. He’s tapping his pen against the desk, he’s smacking gum, he’s shaking his leg, he’s mumbling to himself, he’s sighing really loudly, he’s scratching the table. ANYTHING but being still and quiet.

Viktor’s desk is facing away from Jayce and everything else in the room out of his periphery. Just seeing Jayce’s leg shaking is overstimulating sometimes. He keeps a pair of noise dampening ear muffs at his desk when he’s really trying to do something and Jayce’s constant noise is fucking him up.

Viktor has to teach Jayce how to make his coffee cause if he doesn’t do it right and it tastes different. Viktor tries to grin and bear it for a few months but eventually his leg is not willing to let him get up every time he wants coffee so he gets Jayce to come watch how he makes it (half the cup up coffee, sugar to the count of three, stirred thoroughly, sweet milk up to the top of the handle, then topped the rest of the way up with coffee) Viktor eventually realizes that Jayce has started making his coffee in a similar order but with way less sugar and milk to remind himself to make Viktor’s right

Jayce had a spinning stool when they first started. He made himself throw up from spinning and had to go home. He no longer has a spinning stool.

Jayce constantly tries to start sentences in the middle of writing out equations and Viktor has to get him to stfu until he finishes bc he’s tired of having to resolve all of Jayce’s math.

No one remembers to eat. Sky is constantly losing it because she’ll see Jayce and Viktor bitching at each other over something insignificant and somehow she’s the only one who knows that it’s cause neither of them have eaten in the past 14 hours. God knows if they’ve peed recently.

jayce was assumed gay within his first month because any time a woman would try talking to him he'd be impolite and wouldn't understand or cooperate with the typical flirting maneuvers, and also just look at the way he stands

viktor was confirmed gay within his first week when he was shocked to find out that pilties were NOT cool with the mankissing thing

this led to a good bit of gossip when they started sharing a lab and absolutely no surprise when they started calling eachother 'partner'. eventually it also led to an academy-wide betting pool (with even professors getting in on the action) on when they would break up
