Found - AXEL and Buckishiro

Happy Mother's Day! 🌿✨ Buckishiro, the Ovurrat from The Land of Htrae is back. I made this piece as a gift to my mother for Mother's Day. As Buckishiro explores the mysterious Sacred Forest, amidst the mist and verdure, he stumbles upon AXEL, an ancient automaton that has fallen into disrepair.

Luna’s Black Butterfly created in 2016. This real butterfly automaton was named after the beautiful woman who commissioned it. It features a Green Birdwing Butterfly (Ornithoptera Priamus). This is one of the largest butterflies in the world with a wing span of 6 inches across. I armored this butterfly with brass filigree and adorned it with a pale lemon peridot. This sculpture also includes a rare antique bulb shaped cloche and antique brass flowers. The song playing is called Atomic Aria by me, Ave Rose and produced by @atomsmithmusic on @entelodonrecords . Dragonfly And Opal Automaton 2015. I created this piece for a dear friend using an emerald jewel wing damselfly adorned with genuine opal. Though dragonflies and damselflies are related they are not the same insect. Dragonflies tend to be larger and have different shaped wings whereas damselflies are smaller in shape and their wings (forewings and hindwings)are close to the same shape. I personally find damselflies to have prettier colors so when a client asks me to make a dragonfly piece I show them damselflies too and they tend to choose a damselfly. Pixie Warrior. (Avail.) Battle Imp is its companion piece (see previous post). This a Pixie Warrior atop its faithful riding moth. Riding moths are considered part of each pixie’s family and proudly wears the family jewel upon its head which will match the jewel on the pixie’s helmet. In this case it is a stunning opal. The Pixie Warrior bravely wields its pneuma wand, a weapon against evil consisting of a sharp dagger on one end with an integrity crystal on the other. This majestic green crystal can shoot positive energy into a psyche. If there’s still some goodness within the soul of the pixie’s opponent, the positive energy can give it enough strength to grow and overcome the bad energy. The Pixie Warrior wears a sacred amulet on its back that rechargers the integrity crystal. This amulet has the ability to absorb pure positive energy when blessed. Each amulet is ancient, so its power comes from being blessed by generations of pixies. If this magic cannot turn the opponent to the good side then the pixie will have to use the dagger end. This pixie warrior is on its way to fight a battle Imp who is about to enter their territory. The pixie fields is a place full of sunlight shining down to make its crystal hills sparkle, emerald colored wheat glow and golden flowers bright. This is the companion piece to Battle Imp. My Beehive Bouquet Music Box sculpture will be featured in the @hivegallery ’s Pagan Holiday Show curated by @stephenholmanart! Opening night is this Sat. Dec. 7th! There is an antique brass key on this piece that plays the tune Clair De Lune when turned. Clair De Lune was inspired by the french poem of the same name. This tune and poem greatly inspired this piece. Here is an English translation: Your soul is a delicate landscape Where roam charming masks Playing the lute and dancing seeming almost sad under their whimsical disguises. While singing in a minor key Of victorious love and easy life. They don't seem to believe in their happiness, And their song mingles with the moonlight, With the sad and beautiful moonlight, Which makes the birds in the trees dream, And sob with ecstasy the water streams.
