I think that each stick has their own body temperature depending on their color, for example:

Purple and King, Purple is always cold during the winter and has to get out of the house with at least 2 jackets on or he gets a cold (also because he has the immune system of a wet fetus because of his mom). While King can just get out the house with one unbuttoned or straight up no jacket and be completely fine

In summer, King is dying because of the sun while Purple even then wearing a jacket and still be like "it's a little cold in here"

It's mostly common to see cool sticks and warm sticks relationships more than two sticks from the same type because the cold ones can hug their warm lover in winter and vice verse.
