She's here... And MASSIVE! I paid for a one inch sling (for reference, a one inch spiderling can sit pretty comfy on a quarter)... And I got this EASILY two inch beauty
She's (and I don't know the sex yet, but I'm going with she for now) an A. avicularia "Metallic", and the camera is just... NOT doing her justice. It isn't. Her abdomen is just a gorgeous shiny copper orange. She has this blue-green sheen to her. She's so FLUFFY!
Little thing BOLTED out of the vial she came in and right into the enclosure (after a detour onto my hand, which she Did Not Appreciate). They jump at this age, but luckily she just jumped into her new home! She's currently relaxing on the door. If she's settled down tonight I'll feed her, if not I can wait until tomorrow.
I am nervous, though... I paid for a TWO inch Green Bottle Blue. If THIS is what they sent me as a one inch spiderling?
How fucking big is the next one going to be???
