Good Afternoon! ☀️
Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice [32] And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. Ephesians 4:31-32
Paul took great pains to show the young churches he started what daily Christian living should look like. He understood that the inner life dictates the outer life, so he consistently encouraged them to put away bitterness, resentment, anger, and malice. He understood the power of the tongue so he warned them against evil speaking.
Paul knew how damaging and draining unforgiveness can be so he urged them to forgive each other, pointing to Christ's forgiving them as an example. It is much easier to be kind and tender-hearted when you extend forgiveness often!
