So I have a WIP exploring Fushimi’s sexuality and I realized I think all three top Blues are asexual: munakata being gay/aro ace (depending on mood), Awashima bi-ace, and of course Fushimi as demisexual.

So imagine where everyone is talking about whatever and romantic types are brought up and the top three listen in on some particular interest while going “why?” Just the three of them lowkeyy bonding over not having that particular interest.

Munakata would be the most annoying asexual though, imagine one of the alphabet boys watching a romance drama and Munakata is peppering them with questions about sexual desire because he finds it quite a fascinating concept, albeit one he is unfamiliar with.  Everyone is uncomfortable except Munakata, who simply has scientific interest. Awashima meanwhile has come to terms with her own sexuality and has basically drawn her own conclusions about the fact that the way she approaches romantic relationships with others and the way ‘normal’ people do are at odds, and she’s fine with that. She’s not interested in interrogating anyone over their sexuality or romantic feelings, Awashima is a distinguished bisexual and understands the concept of personal space unlike her King. I could see the two of them bonding over this though especially when they first meet, to all appearances Munakata pretty much offers her a place in S4 after barely knowing each other so I can kinda imagine them having drinks together a few times and discussing themselves. Munakata is pleased to meet someone who has a similar approach to sexuality as he does, and Awashima feels a little proud to have something like this in common with her King.

And then there’s Fushimi, who hates everyone and doesn’t bother to think about his sexuality because he’s not interested in self reflection. I think Fushimi would have this vague feeling that he’s ‘wrong’ but just chalking that up to yet another of the many things wrong with him and this one is the least of his worries anyway. Of course Munakata doesn’t believe in silly things like boundaries and personal space and therefore as soon as he gets the sense that Fushimi is a ‘kindred spirit’ in that respect he’s all ready to call Awashima so they can all bond over the shared wonder of asexuality or something like that. Munakata would be all happy to get to educate Fushimi too, Fushimi meanwhile is not interested in the lecture and do we really need to even talk about this at all. At the same time it is perhaps a little bit of a relief to realize other people feel this way too (maybe not so much Munakata, because he’s weird and annoying, but Fushimi has some level of respect for Awashima as a mostly normal person outside of her diet and knowing that a functional reasonable person feels this way too helps him feel a lot less like there’s something uniquely wrong with him).
