We were brainstorming on the TAU Discord and eventually reached the conclusion that Alcor, the socially oblivious ace/aro demon boi that he is, could literally be giving someone advice one how to date him and still not realize they want to date him. Fic open season anyone?

Mod addition: the idea was that Alcor, while pretending to be an undergrad student, ends up unknowingly gaining a stalker with a crush, who then summons Alcor to help “Tyrone” fall in love with them. Alcor isn’t aware that the target of his summoner’s affections is actually himself, and the summoner isn’t aware that the demon they’ve summoned is actually their crush. Big awkward!

So Alcor, who is pretty clueless when it comes to relationship advice, ends up just telling his summoner things that he looks for in friendships and passes it off as romantic advice. Then the summoner uses this advice on “Tyrone”, who is like “whoa this person seems pretty cool we should be friends!” and does not connect the dots that they are using the advice he’d given them.

Anyways mini unrelated vent, lionfish are like pinacle mean girl when it comes to reef biology. Where they’re found for the most part they’re invasive species. They’re beautiful and mean and bitchy. Basically a high school senior who stands at the top of the social pirimid because she’s from a neighboring cheer squad and the mean girls of this campus can’t handle the bitchiyness of this transfer student.

Do you think that Alcor ever gets 'fatally' wounded while playing human and doesn't notice/ forgets to fix it? Like maybe someone tries to mug him and he chases them of but ends up walking around for the rest of the day with a knife sticking out of him because he forget he got stabbed, or maybe he trips and falls and cracks his head but doesn't notice the damage was that bad so he goes to the grocery store with his brain leaking out.

In some of his “forgets how to human properly” phases, totally. The alienation he gets from this certainly doesn’t help him get better at humanning.

What if Alcor was high on Dipnip and tried to fight his own shadow but his shadow started fighting back? I've always subtly headcanoned that Alcor can control his shadow and make it do different things than him so this is the inevitable conclusion.

Definitely! Mabel has a whole scrapbook entitled “Dipper Losing A Fight With His Shadow”. You can’t really blame him, though. His shadow fights dirty.
