Qiyana does not buy his excuse.

Not when Evelynn was the first to text her about the emergency. That woman knows something, something Draven is not willing to tell her, and for a moment, anger flares up within her core.

But she cannot afford to turn back and slam the door on the way out to go on a witch hunt. Not when Draven is so vulnerable, so frail in front of her. Fragile enough she is almost scared to touch and break him.

Yet, she manages. Her hands cradle his face, wiping away sweat and slicking his hair back with a gentleness she did not know her touch was capable of.

" You're okay. You're okay, alright? Whatever got to you, it is gone. It can't hurt you, it won't, not with me here, " she promises in a hushed, soft tone while guiding him toward the couch, helping him seat before coaxing him to put his face against her shoulder to allow her hand to rub up and down his back. Yasuo is taken aback, really. Briefly thinks about how maybe this was Qiyana’s doing-- but doesn’t dwell too much on it. He simply offers Draven a polite smile.

“You sound like you’re trying to ask me on a date--” Tries to contain the chuckle bubbling up from within to no avail. Not like he was laughing at him, more at the… absurdness of him doing this to Yasuo of all people. “I kid, I kid--” He begins trying to save face, “I wouldn’t mind a hangout plus pizza sounds good too.”

It’s like he’s loosening up the more this interaction goes on, the less he tries to hide the part of him not many get to see: less stoic, open to banter and not standoffish-- unlike how he’d been at the coffee shop where they’d first officially spoke to each other.

“One condition though, there’s gotta be pineapple on the pizza.”
