Looming Cookie

Heck I’ve been sucked into making living objects and I’m scared I’m going to forget how to do anything else if I keep this up.

Anyways, thought I’d share one of my recent drawings to show that I am still drawing, I’ve just mostly been forgetting to share them on tumblr and deviantart. Also I don’t know if I should bother sharing the object art ones or not?

Though, does anyone have any thoughts about this piece? I didn’t do any shading on the center figure and just made the background really dark. I feel like it ends up giving it a glowing effect since I used such a light outline color as well. But, does doing a really dark background actually look good?
