Arabella sat there quietly, watching Alexia closely, prone to attack if the need warranted it. She didn't enjoy the fact that Varric was talking to another woman. Thank you Carpathian possessiveness. She reached out instinctively and rested her hand on Varrics forearm, caressing it gently, almost absentmindedly. "Arabella Greyson.." She said, answering Alexia before Varric could. "I'm not a guest. I've actually been staying here awhile, I just usually keep to my room. That is, until now..." She looked to Varric and smiled, her eyes easily revealing the love and care she felt for him. A second passed and her smile completely slipped away and she was immediately on the defensive. She jumped up with a fluid grace and turned just as the vampire came into the room. The moment he started to speak, she could hear the compulsive lure in his tone and was immediately afraid. "Varric..." She cautioned, reaching out and placing her hand on his shoulder. What business would this vampire have with the likes of her? She didn't know if she could handle being alone with him. Her past memories already started to try and seep into her brain, but she tried fighting them off. All she could hear was screams, all she could smell was blood. Past mixing with present, she visibly shook, her eyes never leaving the vampire. "Don't listen to him Varric." She pushed her own compulsion, hoping she could win over this creature.
