*Was he? In a good mood, that is. He wondered the words silently to himself. Honestly, he could not admit to being in any mood entirely right now, though if he had to choose just one emotion that was currently strongest, it certainly would not be one with negative connotations. It would perhaps be more accurate to describe his mindset as 'floaty', merely existing in this physical world for the time being, his real thoughts and feelings still back at that ill fated gypsy camp. If he were a lesser vampire, his lip may have twitched at the vivid memories of the recent killings, much like a canine recalling the precious bone it had only recently buried somewhere within it's territory. He was calm, satiated for the time being. There was something else as well. Not guilt, no. Something that always lurked beneath the surface after a gorging the likes of which he'd recently enjoyed. It reminded him just howelevated above his former brethren that he truly was now. He was a wholly separate species from humanity, and it was those moments that cemented such a belief deep within him. He could smell their fear, hear their heartbeats as they came to a halt, and sense the acceptance of their destiny just before their souls departed. He was sure she could see the blood working in him, and had known she would before even deciding to enter the kitchen, very nearly bringing the cells of his flesh back to life in a way. It was an illusion, of course, a mere evolutionary trait to allow their kind to fool mortals all the more easily, though it was still nice to pretend now and again. Her question nearly caught him off guard. It was not what he'd expected from her. He assumed she was getting antsy for her first hunt, though he also knew such a memory could haunt her the rest of her days if it did not go right. He had no ideahow she might have reacted on a night like tonight, slaughtering the guilty and innocent alike as he had with the wandering vagabonds. Each blood drinker was as different from one another as the average human being. Still, he could not refuse her request, it would not have been right, "Of course. I will make plans for us to hunt together very soon. You are certainly ready." He leaned in closer now at her next query, giving the faintest of nods before speaking once again, obviously ready to field any questions she might have, assuming most would pertain to the past he'd chosen to share with her upon her dark creation, "Please do. I am an open book, darling."*
