“Geez you were a workout.”
It took her a while to get here. She supposed that was what she got for losing track of Serlie long enough that the transformed werewolf had managed to escape her watchful eyes just before the hours of dusk came around. She wasn’t hard to track down. If the disturbances to the forest weren’t hint enough, Ayumi could track scent better than a top trained bloodhound.
The werewolf had her busy through the entire night. She often tried to stick to simply following the beast around, but for the most part she couldn’t get away from occasional interaction, whether it was out of curiosity or necessity to keep it away from the point of tracking civilization. Dealing with a werewolf was relatively simple for Ayumi. It helped that she had access to so many different abilities, whether it be her magic or her own transformations.
For the most part, she tried to use her wolf form minimally, but being able to shift metal over portions of her body came in handy with a large beast with large claws and teeth was threatening you.
She had to admit, she felt a bit tired. Maybe she used too much magic. She’d have to make up for that later, but for now her focus was on getting the now human-bodied werewolf back home.
Stepping into view once she spotted the seemingly disoriented girl, Ayumi approaching slowly with hands raised for a moment, before showing Serlie the small blanket she’d brought with her. “Morning sunshine. Hold on, kay? We need to get you back, but we should probably get you covered up...how’re you feeling?” She wasn’t even sure if she was going to get an answer, asking as she briefly waved a hand in front of the girl.
