hey

i must be in a good mood today!!! i got up extra early to start my day right with some breakfast, and we went out to buy some groceries and fresh produce.

as i was about to open the car door, i saw our elderly neighbor walking his grandson's dog and i greeted him good morning! he genuinely smiled, probably taken aback by my greeting! his smile made my heart melt!!! it amazes me how a simple "good morning" can make someone's day brighter!

when we got to the market, i was also chatting with the vendors because they were all so jolly plus it doesn't hurt that they kept on calling me pogi (habang 'yung mama ko nanghihingi ng tawad sa mga bilihin kasi hobby niya yata 'yun hehe)

it fills my heart with joy when we shop for groceries and fresh produce. it makes me happy that i can provide for our needs and that i can see where my money's going. this might be a privileged thing to say, but there's a sense of relief and satisfaction in seeing our fridge and food counters fully stocked up. it makes me sleep well at night!

anyway, i'll probably start greeting our elderly neighbor more often. a simple "kumusta po, lolo?" should make him smile more everyday.

if you can, choose to spread kindness and happiness, the world definitely needs it.

to more simple joys and soft moments!!!

Recently, na-appreciate ko ang voice memos. Lol. Nang magsimula kasi ang taon, may nakita akong post na isa sa magandang simulan ay ang pagre-record ng voice entry every day. Noong una, ang normal ko lang sinasabi ay “Voice Entry No.” Un lang. kasi di ako sanay na nire-record ang speaking voice ko. Sanay ako na “singing voice” kasi nagsusulat ako kanta. Eventually, nagrecord ako na parang may kausap lang randomly. Tapos kani-kanina lang, nag-record ako ng “idea” kasi normally ay sinusulat ko. Hahaha.

A friend once told me...

"Alam ko na magaling ka sa trabaho mo, sure ako. Deserve mo kung ano man yung mga achievements mo kasi pinag-hirapan mo yun."

She told me this when I confessed na sometimes I ask myself if deserve ko ba yung mga nakukuha ko. Na minsan feeling ko nagpapanggap lang ako sa trabaho ko. From then on, when I feel like I am being impostor I would think back to this conversation. Na alam ko kung anong ginagawa ko at hindi ako nagpapanggap lang. I learned how to fully accept work compliments, kasi pinag-aralan ko yun. Tntrabaho ko ng maayos, and I delivered and that I should be proud.

Pag nagkkwentuhan mga kapit bahay namin naririnig ko sila so ibig sabihin pag kuamkata din ako sa kwarto ko naririnig nila ko? hahahaha tungina kung ganun pota di na ko kakanta sa kwarto ko. Kung sakali man na kakanta ko soundless na lang lol haha.

So ayon mag 2017 na. Hopefully makagraduate na puhleaaseee. Tapos ano di ko pa rin sigurado ano gagawin ko sa buhay ko paggraduate ko kasi tamad ako magtrabaho. Siguro pag wala na ko makain tas pinalayas na ko ng nanay ko samin tsaka ako magttrabaho.
