Summary:
A retelling of Rapunzel but in the lens of Mary's deal with Yellow Eyes. Demon deals always cost more than one can afford.
Sam stopped Meg from approaching the man, "Hold on. You're not going about this the right way." He said, and she frowned at him. "Just give me five minutes to sort him." Sam asked, and glanced at the door. She locked eyes with him, waiting for him to back down but he didn't. She sighed, and shoved her blade into his hand and walked out of the room. Slamming the door behind herself.
Sam tucked the knife into his pocket and approached the man. "I'm sorry about my sister. She's just being protective. You did invade our home in the middle of the night and you won't even tell us your name." Sam said, sitting on his bed. Sam tucked his hair behind his face, and looked at the door, "I can keep her from hurting you but you have to give me something to work with."
"My name is Castiel, I was being hunted and hid somewhere I didn't think they'd follow." Castiel explained. Sam nodded, "Understandable. Except, why would you hide in a tower? You have nowhere to run if they followed you up here." Castiel frowned, "To my knowledge, Hellhounds cannot climb a tower."
Sam tilted his head, "Did you make a deal?" Castiel shook his head, "No. But I did make enemies." Sam nodded slowly, and pulled the knife out, and began to play with it, "So… You made enemies with dangerous entities and thought your salvation would be where my sister and I lay our heads?" Sam asked, and Castiel tilted his head. "I had no idea anyone resided here. I assumed it was abandoned."
"Well, you assumed wrong." Sam said, and let the knife go into the air and shot it forward, stopping it in front of Castiel's eye. "I have a proposition for you. And I don't think you're in a position to say no."
