Avery never knew what Derek looked like.

He never heard his voice, or saw his face.

He's gonna spend the rest of his life grieving this person he never really met but connected with so much in so little time.

Something something the "I'm slowly forgetting your face" animation but it's not Avery forgetting, it's Avery wondering and imagining who Derek could've been, it's the only thing he can do now.

(Also just imagine all the different d3rLord3 human designs but all their faces are censored or blurred...)

So coming back to this answer wifies did a while ago...

At first I personally saw Avery as an ESFP because he gave off cheerful extroverted vibes from day one, but now, after watching part 2, there are a lot of things to consider: the way he talked badly to himself so much, how quickly he got attached to d3rLord3 despite never having met him, the fact that he was playing Minecraft for 15 hours straight on New Year's Eve, which is like a family holiday! Why wasn't he with his family? It seems like a small sign of how lonely he actually is, so now I think he's more of an INFP: introverted, solitary, and emotional,,

Or maybe I'm just projecting cuz I am an INFP myself lol, but I can't deny I did see some of myself in him, so yeah 🥹

small sfawtde thought,, what if TKIY lures Avery into seeing him in a different way than he did with D3rLord? like Ave is gonna turn left at the crossroads and find nothing,, hell maybe even the journey to the crossroads is different, KIY would have to show the crossroads because d3r warned Avery about it in the book, so Ave might turn left (cuz curiosity gets the best of him) and finds nothing,, BUT when he turns right he ends up in a wholeee new trip/adventure, maybe we see new locations, the world building expands, new characters and lore and all that stuff, and yeah eventually Avery sees the King I guess?? Since every person is different the way Ave falls into the trap would be different than D3r's,, ykwim right? Maybe he doesn't even get cursed at all and something different happens idk im both excited and scared for this sequel,,,

I'm totally normal about the concept of d3rLord3, being already smart to defy a "god" (The king in yellow), then getting cursed by said god with infinite knowledge and SURVIVING. BECOMING *EVEN SMARTER*, AND USING THE CURSE TO HIS ADVANTAGE TO SEE AVERY IN THE FUTURE AND WARN HIM BEFOREHAND.

Bro was probably having the worst migraine of his life yet he still took the time and effort to leave a message for Avery, grab his recordings and edit them, having to see the King in yellow AGAIN just to censor it and make sure no one else sees what he had to, then leaving all the footage in a freaking Google drive with yet another message in Minecraft for people to find.

Maybe he even saw wifies himself making a video about his story lmao.

Anyways this is peak. I'm not ready for part 2 if it ever comes out.
