Side-eyeing the portion of the Borderlands fandom that "now thinks that Lilith is worse than Jack".

I'm pretty sure misogyny is behind this. it's too much like how fandoms think that women have to be virtually flawless and in constant worship of the nearest man to be valid.

Like... she made some bad calls that really made sense at the time, and now we're seeing Confessions and circulated posts that she's worse than a guy who literally almost completed his quest for genocide.

Lilith wanted to murder a person who vouched for a mass murderer, and now people are saying that this is worse than a guy who canonically murdered the children of a subordinate who idly asked him a question.

I'm trying to be fair here, and the BL fandom is fairly cool, but the degree to which people roast Lilith is some low-thinking bullshit. Like, they either don't get the basic story themes of "Everyone is grey and makes mistakes" or they are doing the classic fandom sin of demanding absolute perfection from its female characters.

Fucking hell, but I'm sick of it.
