Fade Butterflies!

Something I noticed in Dragon Age: the Veilguard that I love and wanted to share. Don't know if someone else has pointed this out before.

Throughout Arlathan Forest, you can find pretty glowing greenish butterflies.

They also show up a few other places, most notably (as far as I've spotted) on the Rivain Coast over a few skeletons that are part of a sidequest, and in Harding's room in the Lighthouse once enough of the game has been completed.

I'm pretty sure I've also spotted them in the Crossroads, but I didn't take screenshots there.

I love how peaceful they look. They glow, and their wings are also see-through, like they're the outlines of wings rather than solid things.

But. There is a different type of Fade butterfly I've found in one or two other spots. I only took screenshots in one of those locations, but I do remember seeing them in at least one other (but can't recall, for the life of me, where).

In Arlathan Forest, in the early accessible areas, there's a burnt-out aravel that's part of another sidequest for a spirit of Compassion. On first glance, there appears to be ashes drifting around the wreckage.

Those aren't ashes, though. Well, not entirely.

These little guys give off puffs of smoke as they drift along, fluttering like wisps of paper ash floating off of a fire. If the other Fade butterflies feel peaceful, these feel sad.

If anyone spots other places where you can find these, let me know!
