I have this old picture of my Grandpa during WWII (the one holding the dog) and I decided to ask Reddit about the plane. My grandpa was a mechanic during the war and I just wanted to know what plane he must have been fixing and flying. He never went overseas, but did receive orders for the Battle of Japan that never happened. Still he fixed planes and kept the homeland safe.

Anyway, Reddit came through. This is a B25 Mitchell, the same model plane that was used during the Doolittle Raids. I was also told we sold many to Russia and they were instrumental in Stalingrad. So happy to have this answer and know a little more about the model.

Panchito Reflections! Yesterday was the anniversary of the Dolittle Raid, which saw sixteen B-25 Mitchell Bombers dropping their payloads onto Tokyo in retaliation for the attack on Pearl Harbor.
