every time i see a post that’s like, someone wishing platonic relationships were more important because their friends ditch them for their s/o i sit here like
bruh
my s/o is my BEST FUCKING FRIEND and (general) you better understand everyone else comes in a raging second
so i just can’t understand that whole thought process
Blergh.
I need a Brit-Picker, but I have neither patience nor willingness to ask for help.
Why can’t there be a babblefish for dialects? I put it in my ear and suddenly my vocab is entirely London.
NAH Releases Video for "Sudden Separation"
So If you’ve read either one of these reviews (Difficult / Live Performance At Everyone Hits) you know by now that I fucking love what NAH does! That said he dropped “Nurture” (more tomorrow on that) last week and it fucking rules! NAH’s industrial/electronic/hip hop sound is blown completely out of the water with “Sudden Separation.” On this track we actually hear him spit rhymes in probably the most appropriately fashioned pissed off style! His rap is border lining hardcore screaming when you get into the meat of the song. It’s possibly the most electronic stuff he’s done with the acoustic drums coming in here and there. Over all, it has a really abrasive sound that you’ll either love or hate right away and if you love it NAH quickly becomes VERY ADDICTIVE! You’ve been warned!
The video has a picture inside of a picture with images of NAH rapping in the dark where in a few instances you can tell this only by the white of his teeth coming into focus, a sampling of tour photos and what I can only imagine is NAH at a landfill furthering the destruction by throwing discarded waste in what seems like a controlled fit of rage! Press play and check his new shit out, above! NAH is playing along side of J E Double F, Drums Like Machine Guns, Babblefish (TX) and Static Brothers at the Kung Fu Necktie TONIGHT! GET TO THAT SHOW! IT’s GOING TO BE FUCKING AWESOME! Stream “Nurture” below after you watch the video!

Concept art
Tomorrow is Douglas Adams Birthday, who is apparently not a founding father, but a very talented writer. He taught us many things, like the answer to the question of meaning of life, the universe and everything, never forget your towel, and coined the term “Babelfish.” His legacy is that of some of the best series of Doctor Who, an episode of Monty Python's Flying Circus, radio plays, and nearly a dozen great novels. I discovered Douglas Adams when I was in the 6th grade watching the brilliant adaptation of his book "Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy.” He is one of the few celebrities I remember where I was when I heard of his death. I hope this graphic gets shared at least #42 times today, share to make that happen!
So, like, I had my first bottle of Frugo...
From my local polish-style cafe (best ever, their cakes are amazing and they have all the kinds of snacks I used to eat as a kid). So I just happened to grab a bottle to go with my eclairs, and saw that the bottom of the cap came with a message:
"Sklej maly statek, wlej wody,
dorzuć trochę piasku i poczuj morze ;)"
The bottle was advertising a free trip to Finland,by the way. Now, usually throughout my whole life, the only message we ever get from our drinks are "Sorry, thanks for trying (insert product name here), please try again." So I almost ALMOST tossed away the cap along with the bottle, except I thought the whole message was a little too long to be like that.
So I ran the message on google translate (not sure if Altavista was still on) and got this:
"Glue a small vessel, add water, throw in some sand and feel the sea ;)"
Ooookay. I seriously need to literally translate it with a dictionary and find out what it's trying to say. But at least it's far more poignant than what we usually get with Pepsi.
