No csvd. Observed Behavior - nervous, lip licking, hissed once during exam. Sedated for radiographs. Evidence of Cruelty seen - no Evidence of Trauma seen - no Objective P = wnl R = wnl BCS = 5/9 EENT: Eyes clear, ears clean, no nasal or ocular discharge noted Oral Exam: clean adult dentition, no oral lesions PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, Lungs clear, eupneic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: MN MSI: Ambulatory x 4 but did not assess for lameness (cat was hunched and nervous on table), skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat CNS: Mentation appropriate - no signs of neurologic abnormalities Assessment: R femoral fx Prognosis: Good with appropriate care Plan: CTM while at BACC Start simbadol 0.24mg/kg SQ SID x5d until 3/27 (first dose given) Start onsior 2mg/kg SQ given today, give 6mg tab PO SID the next 2 days until 3/24 Sedated with telazol 0.1ml IM for diagnostics BW sent to Idexx HL radiographs-LHL nsf, R closed comminuted mid diaphyseal femoral fracture CXR-nsf Will need surgical consult for repair vs amputation 23-Mar-2021 Blood Work Interpretation Vet Notes: 9:16 AM Progress exam History: stray intake 3/22/21, was left in a box in front of the shelter that said cat had a mid-shaft femoral fracture.
