He's just a lap dog irl. The type thats waaayyy too big to fit in anyone's lap but does so anyway. Its comfy. Thankfully Malon can hold this overgrown puppy just fine.
Time lost his eye due to a head injury (he got kicked in the face by a horse he spooked while doing a prank) when he was a young teen. It left a crescent shaped scar on his face and he never got his sight back in that eye. Other scars were from various other dumb-shit pranks and not the military, believe it or not. He lived in the barracks as a trainee when he got too old to stay with the Kokiri but eventually quit cuz he didn't want anything to do with Ganon. He eventually was taken in by Talon as a farm hand since he had a way with horses (when he wasn't being dumb) and eventually married Malon.
He's alot more lazy than he looks but his stature scares off just about anything. He loves being dotted on and prefers following rather than leading but will do so when the situation calls for it, which is great for his relationship with Malon as she takes the lead with nearly everything and he follows along.
Due to stress and severe childhood trauma, he looks older than he is, only being 25 but looking like he's 30-35 (possibly older depending on his mood). His scars do not help and it's gotten him into many bars way too young as well as his hidden tattoos (I'll have to draw them sometime). He also makes side-money as a merc (for more tattoos and spoiling Epona and Malon).

During Hyrule Warriors, Mask and Wind meet a number of allies and new friends. Among them are two very protective adults (and Medli); Ravio and Marin. They find two children fighting a war and Ganondorf appalling and take care of them through most of the war, eventually adopting Mask as their shared son. Mask sees Ravio as a mother-figure and Marin as a father-figure (she enjoys pranks). He's grows very attached to Ravio. Despite their attachment, they have to part, but not without their very own copy of the adoption papers! Time has this framed on his wall and will have a panic attack if something happens to it.
As a child Time, or Mask, was quiet and never really needed to talk outside a select few words with the Kokiri so he never really learned how to properly communicate as most kids do, not seeing a reason for it. Despite this he loved pranks, something Saria introduced him to, and would grow up playing them and occasionally attempted a number of dangerous ones. Saria would enable this while Malon would try to reign him in while teaching him how to speak and write. Him in Zelda werent close at first, but after pulling her into a few of his pranks on rather problematic people (hes a good judge of character), she eventually warmed up to him and as adults theyre now good friends who sneak out together.
Because of the few months Mask, Medli and Wind were together (coddled by Ravio and Marin), Wind and Medli often treated Mask like a younger brother.
When Time sees Legend, it takes him a bit but he eventually recognizes him as Ravio's Husband (the similarities are obvious to anyone who had ever seen Ravio without his hood) and Marin's previous crush (aka. His dad). Wind seemed to have caught on sooner. Time acts like an unruly teenager around Legend once the cats outa the bag. He also likes to act like an annoying older brother/younger brother (depending on the situation) to Wind and a nuisance to Warrior's since they already know what he's actually like. He still pranks Warrior's even as an adult while putting on a very 'Dad' like air. Wind, Warriors, and Legend can see past that though.
