"Who loses a toddler...?" He crouched, getting on level with the kid with a scowl "Well, child, where are you parents?" It was the end of a long patrol and Damian was not interested in playing babysitter, the faster the kid was returned the better.
You know, somethin' about this sandwich smells off.
[But Jason doesn't really know what babies eat in their sandwiches so he had simply taken one of the goopy little bottle things and smeared it on bread with a grimace.]

Inbox me a ‘₴’ if you’d like to have your muse catching mine having a nightmare and their reaction to seeing your muse when they wake up
Jason was used to the nightmares, but that didn’t makes them any more pleasant. It was always the same, the clown, the crowbar, and then the bang. This time though, there was a soft noise, so soft he barely heard it, but it was enough to wake him up as tiny footsteps padded closer. Blinking, he looked around the room, almost in a panic, until he found Thomas staring at him. Immediately, he found himself breathing easier as he moved to scoop up the boy to help him onto his bed. “Hey kiddo. You okay?”
Death, Protect, Run!, Help ( got stuck in a cabinet and can't get out ). Do one or all? uvu hee heehee
Protect: My character keeps yours safe from harm.
When Thomas was born, Dick had taken most of the mothering roles--a good thing, if anyone asked Jason because he had been far too busy trying not to be a terrible parent in the first place to even gather the courage to hold the baby. But days and nights turned into weeks and Dick could only get up so many times before the bags under his eyes turned darker than Gotham's chimneys. Jason, finally, pulled the other man back into bed to sleep and padded his way to Thomas.
Carrying him still felt like the oddest sensation. Having something so small and so precious was hard to truly understand when a person was dead set that nothing would be more important than the people he already had in his life. Ironically enough, a child always seemed to be able to change a person's mind easily. A new father, a little young but not by Gotham's standards and a little rough around the edges, is no exception to it.
"Shh. No need to wake up Sweets, do we? Not when we can have our own little time together. C'mon, baby. Just close your eyes. Daddy will be here. There won't be any monsters under the bed."
And he hummed and quietly cooed, hoping he was doing it right while cradling someone no bigger than half of his lower arm to his chest until the street lights turned off and the sun slowly crawled it's way up.
