Hello! I want to start reading the Percy Jackson series, but I looked up what order to read the books in and everyone seems to say something different, and now I'm very confused. How many books actually are there, and what order would you recommend? Thank you!

Hello there! There's 15 books that follow Percy Jackson and the Greek demigods. The main sequence for the Greek series is as follows:

Percy Jackson and the Olympians

1. The Lightning Thief 2. The Sea of Monsters 3. The Titan's Curse 4. The Battle of the Labyrinth 5. The Last Olympian

The Heroes of Olympus

1. The Lost Hero 2. The Son of Neptune 3. The Mark of Athena 4. The House of Hades 5. The Blood of Olympus

The Trials of Apollo

1. The Hidden Oracle 2. The Dark Prophecy 3. The Burning Maze 4. The Tyrant's Tomb 5. The Tower of Nero

Of course, there's supplementary material, like The Demigod Files, and The Demigod Diaries. One of the protagonists of the Greek series, Annabeth Chase, shows up in the Norse books, Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard, since its protagonist, Magnus Chase, is her cousin. Though, I haven't found these to be necessary in order to understand the main story overall.
