I may or may not have yelled at the bus driver :<

So Sky and I don’t have a car which means that we take the (thankfully free) bus at least once or twice a week to get food. The buses, however, only come once an hour and stop running at 6:30 PM. Today we were crossing the street to get to the bus stop when the bus come driving up behind us and we can’t cross the street until it’s out right of way, but the bus was coming too fast for us to make it to the stop on time (think the bus and us are at the same stop light and we can’t beat them to the still down the street bus stop). We were in a rush, we couldn’t afford to miss the bus, we didn’t have the time.

So what do we do? We cross the street while the light is red because there weren’t any cars coming in order to make it to the stop right as the bus pulled up. As we were climbing aboard the driver (probably made up) told us that because “we crossed the street illegally” he didn’t have to let us on and if we do it again he won’t stop and then blamed us for him being 15 minutes behind on his route. We pretty much ignored it.

On our way back from the store, however, we were at the transit center where we run into the same driver switching drivers on the bus we were getting on. This jerk decided to gossip about us “teasing” or some lame excuse about how we “Like to run for the bus” and “cross the street” making it sound like we dashed into traffic or some shit and I’m super mad.

So the other bus driver and him quip about it for a little bit and the new driver says, “But that’s illegal” and I stood up to get closer to the back so I can get away from this shit, turned around and said “So is harassment” very firmly and obviously upset.

She would have gotten the golden medal for backpedals if it were a competition.

 Nobody on the bus applauded lol
