Male Cardinal - Limited Edition Screen Print As big amateur backyard birdwatchers we see many cardinals. We love watching the couples hop around our dogwood catching bugs or feeding each other seeds from our feeders. They’re the sign of a perfect KY summer! Poster details: 4 color screen print 8" x 10"
I have been waiting for the Bluebirds to bring the babies to the camera, but so far to no avail. They are coming down to the yard now though, and they are their adorable demanding little selfs. I took these with my “big” camera, and they are not perfect. The second photo shows the two Dads with the two young ones. The female is sitting on four eggs while they take care of the youngsters. There used to be three, but I have not seen all three babies in a bit and I am not sure if the third baby made it.
On a sidenote - Starlings and their offspring. They are around in numbers, and they are noisy. It sounds like my yard is getting cursed. I think I might pause the mealies in the camera feeder for a bit, I crave sweet bird song.
Shots from the lunch rush a little bit ago. It's a monumental surprise if I don't have my camera in arms reach on the weekends.
