Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1 packet 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast. 1 cup warm water. 2 tbsp olive oil. 1 tsp sugar. 1/2 tsp salt. 1 cup cooked bacon bits. 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1/4 cup chopped fresh rosemary. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy. Add olive oil, salt, and 1 cup of flour to the yeast mixture. Mix well. Gradually add the remaining flour and knead the dough until it's smooth and elastic, about 5-7 minutes. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until it has doubled in size. Preheat your oven to 425F 220C. Punch down the dough and transfer it to a greased baking sheet. Press it into an even rectangle. Top the dough with cooked bacon bits, grated Parmesan cheese, and chopped fresh rosemary. Season with salt and pepper. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the focaccia is golden brown and the cheese is melted. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before slicing.
