Bad Concept

I think that for Simon up on the ARK, it would be really weird seeing all these people and knowing them, kind of, from before just in their worst moments.

Consider Simon meeting Terry Akers. And Akers is just kind of a normal, even cool maybe, guy. But, obviously, Simon’s forever gonna associate him with the Akers that took his own eyes out and tried to kill him.

Or how about meeting whoever Robot Girl was? Strasky? Sarah? Johan Ross?

Like, he’s seen almost all of these people, and listened to the last minute of their lives, and here they still are, and I feel like that’s gonna create such a weird kind of.. dissonance.
