Doing that mt_ rite of passage that is making bad hyperpop/breakcore music

I have never been so repulsed by the modern music industry. I just heard the WORST song I've ever heard in my life.
Lyrics include:
"I wanna text you these fire nudies"
"I can't wait to eat those fat cheeks"
Bet you'll never guess what the chorus was?
"I love you, B*&$#" repeated four times.
This is what we call clever these days? This is supposed to be romantic?
We Don’t Talk About Reno
This. Took. SO. LONG. To figure out. I am NOT a good lyricist, so...I hope you’re all happy. XD Here is my parody of “We Don’t Talk About Bruno,” based on my four-part story “A Holiday Gamble,” all about my Twisted Wonderland OC Reno Rovar (based on Oogie Boogie). Featuring two other OCs of mine, Elias (based on the Phantom Blot) and Nakoda (based on Kaa) and several of the cast of TW. Enjoy, ya buncha weird galoots. XD
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
JAMIL We don’t talk about Reno-no-no-no! We don’t talk about Reno…BUT!
It was a winter’s day…
KALIM (It was a winter’s day!)
JAMIL We were heading to the dorm, There wasn’t a cloud in the sky!
KALIM (No clouds allowed in the sky!)
JAMIL Reno walks in with a mischievous grin-
KALIM (THUNDER!)
JAMIL You tellin’ the story, or am I?!
KALIM (I’m sorry, please, Jamil, go on…)
JAMIL Reno says, “Let’s play a game.”
KALIM (Why did we do it?!)
JAMIL He makes a bet that’s most inane.
KALIM (And I guess that I blew it!)
JAMIL Kalim should have used his brain!
KALIM (That is rude to say, but anyway…)
JAMIL & KALIM We don’t talk about Reno-no-no-no! We don’t talk about Reno!
ELIAS Hey! Grew to live in dread of Reno’s wicked plans a-hatching; I can always hear his pets go skittering and scratching. I associate him with the sound of rolling dice!
(Click-click-click!)
It’s a heavy lift, with a gift so humbling, Always left the Aces and the other foes fumbling, Cowering in corners like a pack of frightened mice! Baby, that’s not nice.
ACE Heavy, stout frame! Ants along his back! When he calls your name, Your luck fades to black! Fills your dreams with fright, A shadow in the night!
ALL We don’t talk about Reno-no-no-no! We don’t talk about Reno!
SEBEK I purchased this gift, but then The next day? Him!
ALL (No, no!)
DEUCE Ace never had lost before! And those odds are slim!
ALL (No, no!)
GRIM I swear that he must be cheating, Or else my name’s not Grim!
ALL (No, no!) The game is rigged, And the odds all favor him!
NAKODA He told me That the life of his dreams Had been stolen and left out to dry. He told me That his power would grow With his fortunes, and I sympathize...
CROWLEY (I won’t help, ‘cause it’s not against the rules!)
ELIAS He told me That his devilish scheme Simply could not be beat By me or another! It’s like I hear him now…
KALIM (Prefect!)
ELIAS It’s like I hear him now…
KALIM (I need you to help take him down!)
ELIAS I can hear him now!
PREFECT Um, Reno… Yeah, about that Reno… I really need to know about Reno! Gimme the truth and the whole truth, Reno!
ACE Hey, get set, guys! It’s time to play!
ALL (DICE ARE ROLLIN’!) [I refuse to write out the Medley, because JESUS.] RENO I’M HERE! ALL (Don’t Talk About Reno!)
PREFECT Why did I talk about Reno?!
ALL (Not a word about Reno!)
PREFECT I never should have brought up Reno!
Just because a song is “meaningful” doesn’t mean it employs good lyricism
Gabbie Hanna poetry is technically meaningful...but her poetry is still terrible
Just cause it’s talking about a bad breakup doesn’t mean the lyrics are good. They can still be surface level lyrics written by someone with the skill set of a toddler. If it sounds like something you would write in your middle school english class?? It’s probably not good
I'm mister meat miser, I'm mister ham.
I'm mister beef cutlets, I'm mister whatevers in spam.
Friends call me meat miser, whatever ever I touch, turns to deli cuts in my clutch.
I'm to much.
Does anyone else have musical lyrics that just make them cringe like nothing else? For me I’ve always hated “that’s what woods are for, for those moments in the woods” because I just think it’s a lazy rhyme especially for Sondheim. However, I think the WORST is in Bring It On when Randall says “And she’s a hottie to boot” because is that how they thought teens talked?? It’s just so awful and it always gets stuck in my head when I listen to the show but for the worst reasons
Jon Bellion saying “I see what you’re wearing, there’s nothing beneath it” is the equivalent of that old post that claimed we are all whores for being naked underneath our clothing
Anybody have a map? (Reprise)
I got this idea from a tumblr post I saw a while ago on Pinterest (I can’t remember who wrote it, sorry!). The post was basically talking about what if there was a reprise of Anybody Have a Map, sung by Connor and Evan during/after their conversation in the computer lab when Connor signs Evan’s cast. I’d been pondering the idea for a while, and decided to attempt to write this reprise. Please excuse my shitty song writing 😂
Anybody Have a Map? (reprise)
*while Connor is signing Evan’s cast (the majority of the conversation is already over), time freezes. Evan turns to the audience and addresses them*
Evan:
Another stellar conversation for the scrapbook.
Another stumble as I’m reaching for something to say.
I’m kinda coming up empty,
How do you do this every day?
Chorus:
Does anybody have a map?
Anybody maybe happen to know how the hell to do this?
I dunno if you can tell but this is me just pretending to know.
So where’s the map?
I need a clue.
Cause the scary truth is, I’m flying blind
And I’m making this up as I go.
*the conversation between Evan and Connor plays out, and after he storms out, Connor addresses the audience*
Connor:
Another masterful attemptence with disaster.
Another failed attempt at trying
to-not-be screwed up and strange.
It’s a puzzle
It’s a maze.
I try to steer through it a million ways.
But I still can never seem to change.
Connor/Evan:
(Chorus)
