Something inside Stiles cracks, so strong and so deep that he practically hears it.

This was a very heart wrenching fic. I love Scott, but this fic has him at his worst. Still loved the fic though and all of the comfurt that Derek gives Stiles while he is hurting. Plus I like when they have to make decisions about what pack they are in rather then just no one caring about having two packs just hanging out. That is my opinion though. If you you think Scott is a bad friend or just like Derek being supportive of Stiles then you will like this fic.

I should post more so here.

Stiles is an omega, attending a college party/bar with omegas Lydia and Allison. Scott, who doesn’t even go to their school, shows up and is clearly looking for someone. Allison starts to freak, he just wont leave her alone! Stiles drags her away, looking for an exit, trying for a plan, when he sees him. The biggest alpha in the room. He goes to him and breathes out, “Hi, this is Allison and she’s trying to get away from her shitty ex who invariably shows up places to rub it in her face that she’s still single and that they’re true mates and she should just go home with him. As the baddest looking alpha here, could you scent up my friend Allison so her ex fucks off?”

They all stare at eachother until the dude shrugs and pulls Allison into his chest and arms and beard. Scott finds them, gets mad and throws a hissy fit until he whines about true mates, with the bad alpha giving off a warning growl any time he got too close, then he is convinced to leave. Allison thanks them and goes off to find Lydia. Stiles introduces himself, learns the alphas name is Derek, and proceeds to flirt his socks off cuz woah, that beard cuddle looked awesome.

I really enjoy supernatural Stiles fics, and I absolutely adored the pack dynamics of this fic. The slow build of the Sterek and the constant looming of the hunter was great. I really enjoyed Stiles’ rational for keeping his secret from the pack because it’s so real. Overall, this was super well written, and I just loved it all.

Sterek hc

I’ve never done headcanons before, so please understand if these are not the best.

Focus: Sterek while Stiles has to be at school all the time, and Derek just wants to be with his man

Derek always moping around the school just so he can sense Stiles and make sure his alright. While, the pack sense Derek and be walking around like ??? Is this dude stalking us ???

During lunch periods, Stiles sneaks out so him and Derek can make out in either one of their vehicles.

Sometimes lunch make outs get to heated, so let’s just say sexy sterek car time :)))))))

Every once in a while, Derek will convince Stiles to skip school. Those days are normally spent cuddling in Stiles bed and watching horror movies (cause stiles like to show off how not scared he is). 

Which then leads to Stiles hiding his face in Derek’s chest, and asking, “Is it over?”   “Yes, Stiles. They’re not cutting him up anymore.”   

One time, Scott caught Stiles texting Derek to wolf off somewhere and not text him during class and ended up drawing the teacher’s attention to the situation. 

Stiles got his phone taken, a grumpy Derek was present for the rest of the day, and Scott was being ignored by both Stiles & Derek. Scott was also, excluded from getting a ride to school for a week

Derek hurried down the street, occasionally glancing over his shoulder to make sure he wasn’t followed, but otherwise was completely focused on where he was going and not running into anyone while getting there. He was so close, oh so very close now, and he knew that just a few more minutes and he'd see him again. Him, the one he hadn’t seen in years and now… so close!

He pushed the heavy front door open hurrying inside the foyer, absentmindedly registering magic buzzing around him as he did so. Knowing what to look for he saw his wards everywhere, tiny tiny marks, runes, symbols carved and written where he knew no one would look for them and Derek made sure to touch them all, to let the wards know he wasn’t there to harm. The magic accepted his presence, greeted him even but was still wary and ready to zap him to the Himalayas in the blink of an eye should it be needed. The wolf wasn’t worried, he was much too focused on the elevator making its way higher and why the hell did it move so slowly!? When he was finally on the right floor, high up above the noisy city outside, he rushed up to the right door and-… hesitated.

This fic hit all of my buttons. Honestly. We got Emissary Stiles. We got Alpha Derek. We got Bad Scott (sorry Scott lovers, it’s one of my favorite tropes). We got healing Derek. Seriously, it’s fan-freaking-tastic. I love Stiles and Derek’s relationship in this, and I love how the author handled the old characters with the original characters they introduced. I’ll probably end up rereading this at some point soon.

After the whole ordeal with the nogitsune Stiles struggles with proving to himself that he can be good again. He starts learning to control his spark in hopes that he could be helpful to the pack once he manages to channel it's power. Everyone thinks it's a great idea and are willing to help him anyway they can, but Scott, Scott doesn't see the point in it.

It's not like Stiles' tiny spark could ever be powerful enough to be an actual asset to the pack.

Stiles just wants a chance to prove himself.
