So today I came out to my mother and her reaction shocked me. I've never really known her opinion on the LGBTQ+ community so I hadn't known what to expect. When I said that I'm gay and that I have a girlfriend she looked me right in the eyes and said 'I'm sorry. I'm sorry that you didn't feel like you can just bring the person that you love to this house. I'm sorry that you felt like you need to come out to me. I don't care about who you love as long as you're happy and safe. Now tell me, who's that lucky girl?' BITCH, PARENTING DONE RIGHT.
