New friends came today. <3
MMC Aero Alpha. Wing fans, he’s beautiful. <3 He comes with an extra head in different colors, as you can see from the pics. Gets a little tricky in a couple spots for the unpracticed at transforming, but it’s not terrible. I’ll have more fun with him when Drift and Deadlock are released. XD
MP-18 Streak, cartoon accurate colors. If I was going to get one, it was going to be this one, not the other color schemes. I’m totally planning on obtaining Smokey and Prowl, too. <333 (I totally forgot how difficult it can be to transform silly Praxians---this Blue was entirely too similar to the Universe Deluxe Silverstreak from 2008, only even tricksier.)

He’s one bang-zoom brawler!
With the leak of Official Masterpiece Sunstreaker images there's a lot of talk of people selling their Badcube Sunsurge figures now that an official product will be made. I know many MP collectors have some stop-gap items in their collection and it can be tough to make that decision when an official product comes along.
Including BadCube Sunsurge, Off the top of my head I can think of three "Masterpiece-alike" Autobot Cars in my own collection that are going to cause me a lot of stress when official options become available due to their incredible quality, shelf presence, and faithfulness to the source character. The other two being Maketoys Downbeat and Ocular Max Sphinx.
What do you guys think? Are you more interested in having an official Masterpiece product? Is price a factor? Included accessories? Will you stick with your early adopter third party figure? What kind of criteria do you use to decide what stays and what goes?
