Mod Kit: Everybody’s doing their bad end AUs, so here’s mine!

Detailed a bit here, instead of being cloned and eventually escaping with their son, Inari is made into a Shadow Pokémon and helps Team Rocket take over the world by force. They have no children in this AU—no need for clones if the original is enough—and are considered Giovanni’s right hand. Inari has no positive emotion to feel, and no will to do anything other than what their master orders.

Team Rocket quickly uses Inari to capture other legends, which they then turn into Shadow Pokémon to create an unstoppable army. They take Johto by storm and nab as many legends as possible, then roll into Hoenn and Sinnoh to do the same. Eventually, the other regions fall one by one.

Team Galactic retaliates by summoning and binding Dialga and Palkia, only for Giratina to free their siblings and the trio flee from Earth for the foreseeable future. Team Plasma’s Dragon is overwhelmed by the horde of Shadowed legends. Team Flare and every later team had no chance to even get started.

Truly, an unfortunate world…

Bad End Pokeask AU: Kappa

Kappa learns the truth of what happened during the accident, and now she knows her team's killer. But, before she can do anything with the information, said killer appears and attacks Kappa and her party. And Giant Chasm caves in with her and Kyurem inside.

She wakes up to find herself alive, but mangled. Her right arm completely missing. Looking around, she sees the corpses of her friends. Nema, Jean, Marigold, and Morelet, brutalized and dead on the floor. Another four Pokemon dead.

Kappa can only blame herself for their deaths. They died simply because they associated with her. And now, she might be next. She turns to Kyurem, her only company in the chasm and begs them to protect her from her friends murderer.

Kyurem, practically powerless themselves, can only grant her their ice.

Kappa is left to wander the endless maze of caves below Giant Chasm, near brain-dead due to ice inside of her body. But, a part of her is happy. This is what she always wanted. To know the truth, and be surrounded by hallucinations of the people who love her. She can never be hurt again.

Actor of Death

[This is for the bad end AU collab]

The panicked Noctowl stumbled down the plateau, wings soaked from the torrential downpour that accompanied the fight he fled from. His talons slipped out from under him, making the drenched bird hit the level much sooner than expected. As he raised up his head, vision only partially gifted to him after the talons of another flying type took his right eye away.

Looking down upon the terrified Noctowl was the King of the night, bringing of nightmares and tender of the stars,Darkrai. The 'mon who caused all of this stress and panic upon the valley.

Oakwen pulled himself up, opening his beak to spew out all the vitriol he had held back until now but it was soon cut short but a clawed hand gently holding his chin.

"Your talons have been steeped in blood this night. No one to echo your story, do you truly think you can go back home little owl?"

Owken's gaze lowered, starting to sniff and sob, the tears joining the rain falling down his face. He was slowly lifted up by the tall, shadowed figure. His options torn down and a gentle touch supporting his body, he only had one way to go.

"Come along Oakwen, your story begins."

No munday but get some art instead! A past-the-deadline bad end AU. Bad end AU according to my brain: if it ended bad for my ocs (with a great emphasis on the word "ended") What I enjoyed most while drawing this was imagining the multiple reasons that could've lead to this single outcome; either stealing, snitching on their bosses, or maybe just doing their job too well and an ambitious rival gang decided to use a full measure. You can come up with your own too. Either way, here's them seconds away from having a 9mm bullet farm on their torsos, one by one, so that each other's silence can be the last thing they ever hear.

Their bad end (At least one possibility that's easy to explain right now) would be that the escape attempt ultimately only led to their recapture, leaving them back isolated and where they started, for the worse.

Regardless, security tightened to the point where once all projects were returned, they weren't able to even have the same mobility they had back "home"...

More under the 'Read More'. Please heed the CWs in the tags before continuing. TL;DR version is that Neo-Ka becomes a soulless fighting machine. In turn, Shadow struggles with keeping everyone happy, despite her own dread. Wesn only struggles in attempting to keep up the 'model' figure, and Hope feels the name for one is ironic, unfortunately.

For Project #082, that didn't stop her from trying again, and again, and again... Until one day, they snapped, the constant failure and endless training before and afterwards being too much to handle. Of course, that moment is the perfect time to properly mold your especially dangerous project into what it's supposed to be. By the time any other project saw it again, the Neo-Ka that once existed had long since disappeared.

Shadow feels the constant pressure to keep everyone as happy as they can be, to the point she decided her current evolution just so she can do her 'job', despite attempts by the organization to keep her as an Eevee. Even with this constant attempts to keep things lively, she struggles to suppress her own hopelessness and guilt for what her sibling became (despite there being little that she could do; it was near-impossible to get around like she used to). Eventually, it felt like she was absent a lot more often, despite her body continuing on as normal.

The stress of the situation caused Project #075 to accept that the only way it'll be accepted is to now be the model project for everyone. That, of course, meant he just became a popular punching bag for those with frustrations and any project that needed to train. Despite it being a fruitless endeavor, #075 will find itself on this path for a long time, to the heavy detriment of #075's physical, mental, and emotional well-being. #075 was noted to be sleeping far more than 12 hours every day without a schedule when not being tended to from injury.

Hope... One only had one "friend" group that one ever was ever known, so one joined what became the 'auxiliary freedom fighters', despite one's unresolved matters with the group. The group eventually collapsed under itself, as its pessimistic members' constant infighting only made things worse for everyone involved, leaving Hope to eventually ditch one's name. Why have it, if one couldn't live up to it?

The organization eventually gains enough success to start becoming a serious threat, and while a hero may come stop it in time, it'll always be a too little too late for those that were returned to the labs.

Bad End AUs part 2

Sorry if I'm terribly late but I got my side of @ask-the-royal-absol's event finished! Hopefully just in time. -Mega CONTENT WARNING FOR: Blood/Gore, Death, rough topics. . . . Bad ending: Dexter, the Street Fighter

Story: It was a rough few weeks after the Pokepals disbanded, and the aggressive bullying from 'Ninasha' didn't help either. He tried his best to move on and continue his hobby of being a musician, but this got him nowhere, and each song he made kept getting worse and worse. Dexter's dad noticed this sudden change in behavior, and spent most of his time with his son to help him out, in fact he spent so much of his time on his son that he put an end to his band just so he can focus on Dexter. Sadly with every attempt, it didn't help Dexter at all, and sooner or later the Callahans were on the brink of becoming broke. With no other options Dexter quit being a musician altogether, and joined an illegal fight club in the slums of kou'piki city just so he can get the money to support his family, because he wasn't old enough to join the big leagues. The Dexter we once knew is gone, being replaced by a cold and serious Deino who cared more about violent fights than his long gone passion for music. That was pretty rough, huh? Well hopefully it isn't that bad for Skarla's end, in fact let's go check on her!

Oh... Well I guess this bad ending will be saved for another time later on. Who knows... But for those curious, Evan, Skarla's trainer, has been captured by Team Phoenix for the purpose of becoming a brainwashed soldier. Skarla did everything she could to try and save Evan but it was too late, and met an unfortunate hand by her own trainer.

Figured I may as well do something for the Bad End AU drawpile that @ask-the-royal-absol is doing. (Sorry about the lack of activity on my blogs lately, my back is still in agony atm)

These three are the only survivors of a devastated world, and even then, they haven't come out of it unscathed, as is clearly evident.

Info about the events of this AU as well as each of them in particular under the cut, just keep in mind any applicable trigger warnings in the tags. If I need to tag this with anything else, just let me know.

And just a following heads up that this gets pretty dark, especially as far as this blog's standards go so far.

It was over faster than anyone had anticipated. Not even Gracia Village's fog barrier could stop the spreading roots of Hollow. All of the Gods had either been slain or devoured, twisted into puppets, empty shells void of all but malice. In the trio's attempt to flee, the Time Gear that was kept under the square, entrusted to Acacia by Aster, was broken, and with it, any chance the three of them might've had at averting this nightmarish fate.

Acacia desperately attempted to repair the Time Gear. With the others guarded by their former allies, empowered by their transformation, and even with the three of them against a single one, attempting to retrieve any one of the Time Gears was a lost cause. Of course, repairing this one was ultimately fruitless. She lacked the divine power she needed to restore it. And without the presence of Dialga's divine power over Time to stabilize her own unstable power, her corruption, which she'd barely averted the last time, began to take root once again. The tempting whispers had returned in full force, taunting her with a future she could no longer have, slowly breaking down her heart and mind.

Cherry, with all her scientific and mechanical skill, couldn't have stopped it even if she'd had years to prepare. There was just too many of them... As well, the Regihollow, as she'd called it, was one of the few things that awoke her primal fear. Even being amalgamated from what she could salvage, her body knew on some instinctive level... that abomination had killed her. Her will cracking under the strain of her body screaming at her to run, she'd complied. With her tail between her legs and fearing for her life, she ran, even though she was one of the few that actually had the potential to match its power... All that was in her mind, was true fear.

Without anyone to rekindle her hope, to give her even a single spark, and with no way to reach the others she'd befriended, Mint slowly began to lose her willpower. Her hopelessness, in combination with the seeds of Hollow planted within her heart, began to fuel her own corruption. She'd watched her mentor perish before her eyes, engulfing her hope in a blaze of hate. Finally, that hate had died down, burnt out from her lack of energy, leaving nothing but emptiness and despair... Part of her wished to return to the forest where she'd had such a pleasant dream. Even if it was a farce, a counterfeit formed from her most idealistic wishes, she could at least be happy in the fog.

In the end, the three of them fell as well. And with them, so did any glimmer of hope that remained.

The world was devoured, and soon enough its new Master broke free of their shackles to annihilate whatever remained on its surface...
