I get that 2012 was 11 years ago (Jesus Christ), and these movies have a jump scare every 3 feet. But...really?

I got a dream where I got to kiss Matt Murdock and just as things were about to escalate, it turned into a nightmare as Matt vanished and where the thing from Sinister with a couple of ghosts scared the living shit out of me. Why do my dreams gotta be so messy?
