Chicken Baida roti,
Ingredients for
Chicken Baida roti
For Making Dough
3/4 cup All Purpose Flour 1/4 cup water 1 tsp Oil
For making chicken
1/2 lb Chicken 1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tsp Coriander Powder 1/2 tsp Garam Masala 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder 1 tsp Chilli Powder Salt to Taste 1 tsp Lemon Juice 1/4 cup chopped Coriander Leaves
Egg Mixture
1 Large Egg Chopped green chilli 1 tbsp chopped Onion 2 tbsp coriander leaves Pinch of black pepper Salt to taste
Method :
Lets begin with chicken marination,
STEP 01 : Take boneless chicken or chicken breast into a bowl. Wash them well using clean water well and cut them into small peices.
STEP 02 : Add ginger garlic paste into the chicken.
STEP 03 : Then add red chilli powder, turmeric powder.
STEP 04 : Next add garam masala, coriander powder and salt to taste.
STEP 05 : Finally add lemon juice and mix well.
STEP 06 : Once the masala is well coated onto the chicken. Cover and leave it to marinate for 1 hour.
To make Chicken Baida Roti dough,
STEP 01 : Take large mixing bowl add flour into the bowl.
STEP 02 : Add salt and oil to the flour and mix well.
STEP 03 : Add water and knead it well to make a semi soft dough. Cover and allow it to rest for 15 mins.
STEP 04 : While the dough is resting lets prepare the chicken filling, To that once the chicken is marinated, heat oil in a pan in a medium flame.
STEP 05 : Add all marinated chicken peices into the oil give it a mix well. Cover and allow it to cook for 15 to 10 mins or until chicken is tender.
STEP 06 : Once chicken is cooked, to garnish the chicken add few coriander leaves.
To prepare Egg mixture,
STEP 01 : Take a small bowl break one large egg into the bowl.
STEP 02 : Next add the green chillies ,chopped onions and coriander leaves.
STEP 03 : Finally add salt and pepper to taste.
STEP 04 : Whisk the mixture well using a fork and keep it aside.
Now it’s the time to prepare the Chicken Baida roti.
STEP 01 : Take the dough and knead it one more time to make it more soft and pliable and divide the dough in two equal portions.
STEP 02 : Take one of the ball and roll it out in to very thin roti.
STEP 03 : Heat skillet and put rolled roti on it.
STEP 04 : Add the chicken mixture at the Centre of roti and spread that out evenly.
STEP 05 : Now add egg mixture over chicken.
STEP 06 : Now lift the edges of the roti and flod it to give it a rectangular shape.
STEP 07 : Drizzle generous amount of oil around roti.
STEP 08 : Allow it to cook till it gets good golden crisp from all the side.
Once done remove it from the heat and serve hot- hot to taste this yummy easy food.
