Rani Durgavati — The Queen Who Chose Death Over Dishonor 👑🕊️

On this day, Rani Durgavati, the warrior queen of Gondwana, fought her last battle against the Mughal army. And when defeat was near, she did not surrender. She chose martyrdom.

Mughal general Asaf Khan attacked. Rani rode on her elephant Sarman. Her son Vir Narayan fought like a lion. She took two arrows — one near her ear, one in her neck.
But she never surrendered.
She picked up her dagger and chose death over dishonor.
