veneredirimmel. it’s like this; Diana and i think Lisa too, had a few Dean/Santa from 3.08 troubling days back around the holidays, it was a trial. I decided to class up the joint [that guy look germy no way dean went for that] anyways it reminded me of the Lorelei gilmore riding santa scene, i think she’s sparkly like Dean, right? and voila! Ofc the only brooding troubled hero worth consideration was Gordon.

oooooh then there was a gif going around with the caption subbing for santa, referring to the trope when dean used Deah’s ring....it only made things worse

no yeah, i agree with you. i also found it interesting that sam came off as reluctant to try and save them? to give them a second chance? especially when that is what he has been essentially trying to do with dean this season

Yeah I found that very fascinating too, especially in contrast with Dean who was doing the exact opposite? Dean was saying about himself, like, “we saw what happened to Cain, gotta face the truth even if we don’t like it”, but then advocated so strongly for Cole to fight and not give up. Very interesting behaviour from both of them.

Also found it interesting that Dean asks how Gemma is - twice - almost like he’s projecting concern for future!Sam, who is going to be in a similar position (trying to save monstrous loved one/is endangered by monstrous loved one)?

Lotta stuff to think about.

It is literally just for that one point - that there is actual acknowledgement of the external supernatural influence, with none of the inner darkness/not enough willpower crap that a lot of the other MOTW parallels implied this season, which I had been really reeeeally hating. Observers actually saying, “He needs help”, “he never took life he didn’t have to before” and so on! I’m just like, THANK YOU, jfc finally.

Cole... is not the most exciting character lol. They’ve already killed off all the ones I like though! So gotta settle... :( haha
