I hate that almost all of the characters in supernatural call Dean 'selfish' for trying to get Sam from the dead more than once, like they don't understand that Dean literally feels like Sam's parent, like he's the only one responsible for him, if a mother did this for her child they wouldn't bat an eye they would call it 'unconditional love' or whatever, they wouldn't think she's 'selfish'.

Dean wasn't selfish for wishing Sam has a life, a good life, he got him from the dead everytime wishing that this time Sam would retire or at least live a good life, because Dean feels responsible for dragging Sam into the hunting life since the dad's on a hunting trip thing.

Dean was a parent, a good one, he had unconditional, selfless, pure love, and I won't take any shit about him being 'selfish' for wanting his child, brother and everything alive and well next to him until he dies.
