We opened a treat tonight.
In honor of Rosh Hashanah, Russell tasted a little dessert wine at Bar Henry to celebrate. L'shanah tovah.
Working with the Bar Henry brand on 90 West Houston is a work in progress.
“Your strategy can then be the marriage of your business objectives and your insights into your customers. Really understanding what you know about them that no one else does is your competitive advantage.”
I believe that the young, urban, professional wine consumer is rapidly moving away from stuffy, overdone restaurants, and is instead moving toward hipper, wine centric establishments. The best in class in this field is Paul Grieco's Terroir. The US is now the largest wine drinking nation in the world, but has a long way to go to become the largest per capita in wine consumption. In times of economic stagnation, value establishments offer the chance to consume top tier wine, at value driven price points. If there is any restaurant asset that I would recommend replicating, it would be Paul Grieco's business model. That is what we are trying to accomplish at Bar Henry; hip, cool, fun wine centricity at a value driven price point, and that is at the center of our digital marketing campaign.
We ended our SOR Crawl with Russell changing hats and being interviewed.
