Terry Yang, our best customer, and a SOHO native, found the third bottle on Houston and MacDougal. There are still two more to find, time is ticking...
Who likes free bottles of Maison Trimbach 'Cuvee Frederic Emile,' Krugsplits, and Tenuta Il Poggione Brunello? Well team Bar Henry have hidden a few little gift certificates around the West Village; find them and free wine will be yours....
We opened a treat tonight.
In honor of Rosh Hashanah, Russell tasted a little dessert wine at Bar Henry to celebrate. L'shanah tovah.
Our Wine Director Russell Lichtenthal stopped by McKenzie-Mueller in his recent trip to Napa, and had the chance to speak with Bob McKenzie. We will be adding one of their wines to our list next week.
Orange wine starkly reminds us of a Harry Potter elixer, so the Gourmet Bachelor produced this satirical piece about our newest by the glass selection. Wine is fun.
Thank you Gary V for truly changing the wine world; there is now a new school of wine education rooted in entertainment, and enjoyment of wine. You taught the Bar Henry crew quite a bit about social media, wine, and life. You will be missed.
In honor of Gary Vaynerchuk retiring from Daily Wine video production, we repost this episode of the Daily Grape, where Gary came to Bar Henry and tasted some Chinon.
Betts & Scholl 2005 Hermitage Blanc
We ended our SOR Crawl with Russell changing hats and being interviewed.

Our last stop in WILLIAMSBURG BROOKLYN on the SOR Crawl was Huckleberry Bar, where Trevor Alberts spoke wine, cocktails and food with Russell.
We ventured deeper into WILLIAMSBURG BROOKLYN, and came across DOC just as they were about to close. Andy Swerdlow gave us the lowdown on the wine and food.
We ventured across the bridge to WILLIAMSBURG BROOKLYN for our next stop on the Summer of Riesling bar crawl. At The Counting Room we ran into Doria Paci; she, Russell and Katie discussed the Riesling and food pairing.
Eugene at Edi & the Wolf spoke to us about the unique Austrian- Germanic food and beverage at their establishment. These guys know hospitality, and were a favorite on our Summer of Riesling crawl.
