With a barbecue twist, the SBQue Burger is a tasty and savory burger. The beef patty is juicy and comes on a toasted bun with barbecue sauce. It is topped with cheddar cheese, red onions, tomatoes, and pickles.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1/2 cup barbecue sauce. 4 burger buns. 4 slices of cheddar cheese. 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced. 1 tomato, sliced. Lettuce leaves. Pickles. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Set your grill or griddle on the stove to medium-high heat to get it ready. Shape the ground beef into 4 burger patties that are all the same size. Add salt and pepper to both sides. Put the burger patties on the grill or griddle and cook for four to five minutes on each side, or until they're done the way you like them. Add a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty and let it melt in the last minute of cooking. Heat up the grill and toast the buns until they are just barely golden while the patties are cooking. On the bottom half of each bun, spread barbecue sauce. To make your SBQue Burger, put a lettuce leaf on top of the sauce, then a burger patty with melted cheese, tomato slices, red onion slices, and pickles. Put the other half of the toasted bun on top. Enjoy while hot!

This recipe for slow-cooked pulled pork with a tangy mustard-based sauce will take you back to the real flavors of North Carolina. This dish is great for a big party or a family dinner, and it will make you crave barbecue.
Ingredients: 4-5 lbs pork shoulder, boneless. 1 cup apple cider vinegar. 1 cup yellow mustard. 1/2 cup ketchup. 1/3 cup brown sugar. 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce. 2 teaspoons hot sauce. 1 tablespoon smoked paprika. 1 tablespoon garlic powder. 1 tablespoon onion powder. 1 teaspoon black pepper. 1 teaspoon salt.
Instructions: Combine apple cider vinegar, yellow mustard, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt in a bowl to create the marinade. Place the pork shoulder in the slow cooker and pour the marinade over it, ensuring even coverage. Cover and refrigerate overnight to marinate the pork. In the morning, set the slow cooker to low heat and cook the pork for 8-10 hours until it's tender and easily falls apart. Once cooked, use two forks to shred the pork inside the slow cooker, allowing it to soak up the flavorful juices. Serve the pulled pork on buns or by itself, and drizzle with extra cooking juices if desired.
