realized i never posted this but heres a video of porter going to sign my hat in an empty space, seeing barkeys signature, and then signing right under barkeys signature.

mmmm denver and porter meeting before, but they really get to know each other when they start playing on the flyers.

and everyone knows everyone has a soul identifying mark. it's only activated once you say i love you to that person.

they're on the ice and porter scores a beauty and denver hugs him, then yells i love you, and suddenly they both just feel something. porter's mark on his neck burns, turning dark. denver's on his shoulder burns from under all the hockey padding.

they just stare at each other, and realize, aw, shit. obviously, they go to trevor for help (could be tk too...) and then trevor just stares at them and gives up. he grabs jamie by the back of the jersey and drags him over. he tugs down jamie's jersey sleeve up to show a dark mark on his elbow. trevor shows his collarbone, where the same dark mark is. he just gives them a look and walks away.

denver's flabbergasted, but he's happy. porter being his soulmate?! better than anyone on the penguins.
