fun barn happenings today!

woke up at the asscrack of dawn because i had horses to take care of BEFORE going to the barn

watched someone hit a baby deer that ran in front of their car and had to swerve so i didnt hit its body :(

treated a donkey with a very bad case of rainrot on his ass (lol)

had to examine a wound next to a cat's butthole (she purred the whole time)

fell on my ass throwing down hay but at least i landed on a hay bale

spent a minute digging hay out of my shorts after falling ass-first on the hay bale

wrapped an abscessed hoof for the first time and didn't even get grossed out by the smell!!

Shep helped us teach the Quidditch babies that the treadmill isn't such a scary place!

In the past week, the barn where Nova lives has come under new management and brought on three new boarders.

Last night a tree in the big pasture was struck by lightning just minutes after all the horses were brought into their stalls.

I’m not superstitious, but the timing is making me a little stitious.
