And I think Barney peanuts would either be in cabin 11, the Hermes cabin

Because like he comes from the circus and knows a few tricks and stuff which seems like a quite Hermes thing to do

Not to sound like a fake newsies fan but was looking up the trading cards and genuinely who the fuck is Barney Peanuts

No but I fell in love with Barney

He's good at pickpocketing. Doesn't do it often because his aunt told him not to but he can in fact pickpocket quite well. It's one of the tricks he learned from the circus.

Loves his aunt! He actually listens to her and wants to make her happy. So he does his best at school (he does go to school and only sends the evening edition + Sundays) and while selling.

His aunt is named Matilda and Barney's mom was her older sister. She's a polite young woman with her equally dull but polite husband. They also have a daughter but she's only four years old. Barney calls her his little sister and takes care of her.

Barney uses tricks he learned at the circus to sell more papers and to make the passerbys laugh. He also loves to show off his abilities, especially juggling. The other boys are really impressed by it. He's quite a performer.

Barney used to have a monkey as a pet but he had to give it away when it started to grow too old to be taken care of at home :(

Barney is also very extroverted even though he may appear shy durning the first meeting. Barney is an optimist and he loves to cheer people up.

Barney is one of the younger newsies- He's 12, red hair and constantly smiling (sometimes it's a nervous smile though.) he has a lot of freckles and blue eyes just like his mom's.

Also this last headcanon is brought to you from a conversation I had with @what-the-newsies - Barney is allergic to peanuts! He can't eat them even though he'd love to.

I did not expect to have a new fav but now I kinda fw Barney Peanuts. (DAVEY IS STILL MY FAVOURITE ONE I AINT GIVING HIM UP)
