We are having a cold snap here in Indiana. Alex and I were concerned about the patagoons in their freshly renovated barn. So we decided to spend part of the night in there making sure the insulation and other amenities were up to the task of keeping them in their safe temp range. We brought a big pile of donated fruits/veggies. Then the two of us hid in a bunch of sleeping bags and old comforters watching them. They ended up being fine in the chill and got pretty brave about eating near us once they figured out we were giant caterpillars trapped in a fluffy cocoon. 🐛 In the end, the temp was fine for them, and I felt like David Attenborough taking pics from inside the blankets.
